Venita Joyce Christiansen

Venita Joyce Christiansen, 89 of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at a local hospital.  Arrangements under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Venita was born on May 22, 1932 in Winters, Texas to Milton and Opal Wheeless.  She grew up on a farm in Winter and graduated from Winter High School.  She later married Odell Christiansen and they made their home in Abilene.  After his passing, Venita married Jerre Inman and they also resided in Abilene.  Venita loved being at home, making and decorating all things beautiful.

She was preceded in death by two newly born sons and her beloved daughter, Tracey.  Venita is survived by her son Curt Christiansen of Abilene; grandchildren Chad Coffey of Abilene and Chase Coffey and wife Michelle of Houston; and great grandchildren Autumn and Lilly.
