Tracy Fleet, 56, beloved father and grandfather, was called to his eternal resting place on February 10, 2020. He entered this world on October 18, 1963, in Milton, FL, born to Ralph James “Jim” and Patricia Fleet. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Tina, his three children Natalie, Austin and Mara, his daughter-in-law Elizabeth, and his three grandchildren June, Max and Finn. He is also survived by his mother Patricia, and his four brothers Vance, Ralph James “RJ,” Erik, and Brad Fleet and their spouses, and preceded in death by his father, Jim. Tracy served in the Navy from 1982 to 1990. He met his wife, Tina, in San Diego, California in June 1985, while he was stationed on the USS Cape Cod. They were married in October 1986 and welcomed their first child in 1990. After the Navy, Tracy was called to ministry and after two years of schooling became the pulpit minister and led the congregation at Wood Street Church of Christ in Sherman, Texas for eight years. From there, he continued his education at Abilene Christian University in Abilene, Texas, received his Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and became a licensed counselor. He served the community of Abilene as a counselor for over 15 years through his private practice Life Renovations.
Family visitation will be held at Piersall Funeral Home on Thursday, February 13 from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 14 at Southern Hills Church of Christ in Abilene, Texas at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, Tracy's family wishes that a donation be made in his name to the Marriage and Family Therapy Masters Program at Abilene Christian University (www.acu.edu/give or by phone at 325-674-2613).
