Terry Hugh Ward

Terry Hugh Ward, was born May 22, 1953 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Terry died in Abilene on December 7, 2020.   There will be a visitation on Thursday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at the Piersall Funeral Directors at 733 Butternut Street.  There will be a graveside service on Friday December 11 ^th at 1:00pm, at the Hawley cemetery.

Terry was born on May 22, 1953 to Joe Peck Ward and Alice Adelle Kuykendall Ward in Wichita Falls.  He grew up in Houston and moved to Abilene at age 16 where he graduated from Abilene High School.  Terry was a member of the University Baptist Church. Terry loved to watch football, go fishing and was on the bowling team for Coca Cola bottling in Abilene where he worked for many years.

Preceding Terry in death were his parents and a brother Clark Ward.  Terry is survived by his wife Julia of Abilene, a sister JoLana Weberneck, of Sequin, Texas, half-sisters Judy Hensley, of Dallas and Maryann Briney, of St. Augustine, Texas. He will be greatly missed by his many friends and extended family.
