Tanner Lane Thompson

Tanner Lane Thompson, loving husband, father, son, brother and friend passed away on August 24, 2018 at the age of 38. A celebration of his life will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday September 4th, 2018 in the Auditorium of Beltway Park Church - North Campus, 2850 Hwy 351. Services are under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St.

Tanner was born October 9, 1979 to Lonnie and Judy (Gann) Thompson in Abilene, Texas. He was raised in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School where he played both football and baseball. On January 21, 2003 Tanner married the love of his life and high school sweetheart Marissa Ross. They made their home in Abilene and had three wonderful children that Tanner adored; Addie, Sawyer and Lainey.

Surviving Tanner are his wife Marissa, children; Addie, Sawyer and Lainey, parents, Lonnie and Judy Thompson, brothers Scotty Thompson and T.J. (Tyler) Thompson and wife Maricela, as well as many other extended family members and close friends.
