Shelby Malease Borton

Shelby Borton AKA Fred, 27 of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, July 9th, 2022.

Shelby was a free spirit as well as a spirited lady. She loved and loved hard.

When it came to the debilitating illness that tried to take her life multiple times Shelby stood strong when most folks would have given up.

Shelby leaves behind a handsome baby boy with the most beautiful blue eyes you have ever seen.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made at any Prosperity Bank with a notation in the memo line that says Kutter Ray.  (Shelby’s most blessed treasure in life)

A service will be held on Saturday, July 16th at 10:00 am in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St. with a graveside service to follow at Potosi Cemetery.  A visitation with the family will be held Friday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
