Sandra Sue Graham

It is with both sorrow and celebration that we announce the passing of Sandra Sue Graham on February 12, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in San Francisco, CA, on November 20, 1938, Sandra brought light and laughter to everyone she encountered, leaving an indelible mark on her family and friends.

For over 30 years, Sandra dedicated herself as an administrative assistant at Hardin Simmons University, making countless connections and memories along the way. Her warmth and generosity extended beyond her workplace; she was a beloved member of Trinity Episcopal Church in Albany, where she actively engaged in the community.

Sandra leaves behind a loving family who will continue to honor her legacy. She is survived by her daughters, Cyndi (James) Bryant and Jill (Mike) Renick; her sisters, Mary Lynn Melton and Lela Waresh, granddaughter Kristina (Garon) Davis, grandson‘s, Justin and Cliff Renick, Justin, Jimmy and Elizabeth Bryant, great grandchildren Skylar, Ryleigh, Isabella and Aubrie Renick, Kayden and Braylon Davis.

She also leaves behind a niece Julie (John) Balog and nephew Mike Waresh as well as many wonderful friends who meant the world to her. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit remembering her vivacious nature and unwavering support.

Preceding Sandra in death were her father, William Melton; her mother, Vera Baker; and her husband Loyd Graham.

A celebration of Sandra's remarkable life will take place with a funeral service held at Piersall Funeral Directors on February 15, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Prior to that, there will be a public viewing on February 14, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, allowing friends and family to come together to share memories, laughs, and perhaps the occasional tear.

As we gather to commemorate Sandra, let us remember her vibrant spirit, her laughter, and her endless love—she will be dearly missed, but her light will continue to shine brightly in our hearts.
