Ruben Balderas

Ruben Balderas, 61 of Brady, passed away at Hendrick Hospice Care Center on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.  Local arrangement under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut in Abilene.

Ruben was born in Terry County, Texas to Albert and Maria Balderas.  He was a mechanic by trade and loved working on cars of all types.

Ruben was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Albert “Tinga” Balders and Johnny Balderas, and sister Ida Marie Soto.  He is survived by his spouse of 21 years, Anita Davee, daughter Samantha Balderas, step-son Robert Riojas, brother-in-law Mike Soto, nieces Maggie Soto, Liberty Soto, Sophiae Balderas and Vanessa Malmsten and nephew Albert “Pepe” Balderas. As well as other children, grandchildren, and extended family and friends.

A memorial service for Ruben Balderas is pending in Brady.
