Roy Rudder

Roy William Rudder Jr, 67 of Amarillo, passed away on Friday September 2, 2022 at a local hospital.

On August 25, 1955 Roy William Rudder Jr. was born in Odessa, Texas to Roy and Sue Rudder. He was raised in Eula and lived in Abilene then relocated to Amarillo for the remainder of his life. He attended school in Eula, Texas where his family resided. He worked in the oil field before his started driving trucks. Roy met the love of his life, Katrina Hart in 2013 and later married her in 2017.  The two have been together ever since.

Through the years Roy had made many friends. He loved going to the dirt track with his wife and spending time at home with Pecos. Roy always showed interest in hearing about his Grandchildren and going to sports events. He especially loved watching Nascar.

Preceding Roy in death were his parents Roy and Sue Rudder, a brother Michael Rudder, Wayne Rudder and a sister Deborah Sue Powers. He is survived by his loving wife Katrina, daughters Joni Moss and husband Stephen, Jenna Rudder, Christina Rudder and McKenna Osborn, son Jeremy Rudder, Jonathan Rudder and fiance Katelynn, Jarrod Rudder and Michael Rudder, nineteen grandchildren; Jacey, Kasyn, Lanie, Mallorie, Gavin, Landon, Ayvah, Hadley, Adalynn, Rowdy, Riatt, Makayla, Kylie, Karley, Mackenzie, Chase, Ashley, Athena and Alexia.  In addition Roy is survived by his sister in law Deborah Kay and nephew Namon and wife Marion and their children Gage and Paige.
