Oles Pinson

Oles V. Pinson, age 92, of Comanche, Texas, passed away on Thursday, July 14, at his son’s home in Abilene. Oles was born on December 21, 1929 in Alba, Texas to Olen and Vera Pinson. He was the middle of three children. He married Bernice Pinson on November 21, 1951 in Dallas. They shared God’s word wherever they lived, including Frankston, Texas; Guatemala, Mexico, Montana and Honduras.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, (Bernice) his brother (Dwain), and his son (Van). He is survived by daughter Bernita (& Kyle Sheets) of Ovalo, Texas, sons Keith (& Teresa) of Cookeville, TN, Foy (& Kay) of Abilene, Paul (& Shelley) of Roanoke, Texas. Oles is also survived by one sister, Mildred (& Carl Allen) of Crockett, Texas, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family is grateful for the compassionate care of Hendrick Hospice team during his last few weeks. A private burial is planned at Zion Hill Cemetery in Comanche, Texas.
