Nathan Russell Neill

Nathan Russell Neill was born April 10, 1995 in Tallahassee, Florida to John and Karene Neill. He was born into a tremendous community of friends in Tallahassee. The family moved to California in 1997. He loved living in California. In July 2000, Nathan and family moved to Abilene, Texas. Nathan spent a portion of the drive saying, “take me back to my home in California!”

Nathan attended Wylie High School, where he was involved in band, cross country, soccer, and track. He graduated in May 2016 from Abilene Christian University with a degree in Biology. He received his Master’s degree from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University in New York City this past May. He was employed by Pharmaceutical Product Development in Wayne, Pennsylvania in the Labs division as a Biostatistician. He was really enjoying his job and adjusting to living in Philadelphia. He proposed to Stephanie Collins in May, and they were looking forward to their marriage. On August 4 ^th , 2018 Nathan died suddenly after waking up ill in the middle of the night.

Nathan is survived by his parents, John and Karene Neill, his younger sister Natalie, and his fiancée, Stephanie Collins. Grandparents: Jerrel and Anita Payne and Benny and Barbara Russell. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday August 11 ^th , 2018 in the Auditorium of Highland Church of Christ under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St. The family requests that donations be made to the Gates Foundation in lieu of flowers.
