Monica A. Torres Brushel, formerly of Abilene, passed away on January 3, 2021 in Reno, Nevada. Monica was born on February 13, 1979 at Langley AFB, Virginia and in 1985, she started grade school in Abilene and attended Cooper High School. She loved remodeling homes and no job was too big or too small for her because she loved the challenge. Monica was an outstanding Christian woman, and she loved her children and her family with all her heart.
Monica is survived by her husband Damien Brushel and her sons Gabriel Torres and Ethan and Kaleb Brushel, and granddaughter Arabella Rose Torres, whom she loved with all her heart.
