Mitchell Sewell Greer

Mitchell Sewell Greer, 90 of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023.  Due to power outage at th funeral home, visitation will now be in the Special Events Room at the Oldham Lane Church of Christ, 5049 Oldham Lane, Thursday, June 22, 2023, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m.   Funeral service will be Friday, June 23, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. in the Special Events Room at the Oldham Lane Church of Christ, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Mitchell was born on September 14, 1932, in Nashville, Tennessee to James and Robbie Greer.  Mitchell served as a minister of God’s word for many years and was a faithful servant until the very end.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Robert Greer, daughter Robanne Greer and his beloved wife Lois.  He is survived by his son, Randall Greer of Fort Worth.
