Michelle Rodriguez

Carmen Michelle Rodriguez, 30 of Abilene, passed away in a car accident in Lamb County, near Littlefield on Wednesday, July 20, 2022.  There will be a visitation on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Piersall Funeral Directors.  Funeral service will be on Thursday, July 28 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street, with burial to follow at the Abilene City Cemetery.

Michelle was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Eddie Joe Casillas and Olga Martinez on May 22, 1992.  She grew up in Clovis and moved to Abilene in 2012 to live with and help her mother.  She had 3 children of her own and loved them with everything she had.  She was full of life, had a smile that would brighten any room and was a beautiful person inside and out.

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Casillas, Sr; her brother Mario Tejeda, Jr., sisters Lisa Michelle Tejeda and Carmen Cassillas and daughter Roselin Isela Rodriguez.  She is survived by her mother Olga Martinez; son Gabriel Zeek Rodriguez; daughter Everliegh Rose Corrales; brothers Eddie Joe Cassillas, Jr., Johnny Joe Martinez and Joe Michael Martinez and sister Amy Marie Tejeda-Warner.
