Mary Katherine (Kathy) Morris

Mary Katherine (Kathy) Morris, 86 of Abilene, passed away at Hendrick Hospice Center on Friday October 5, 2018. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 11th, at 10:00 am at the Highland Church of Christ in Room 112.

Kathy was born December 9, 1931. Prior to moving to Abilene in 2003, Kathy lived in California and in Mexico.

She was very active at Highland the past 15+ years, encouraging and blessing so many of our members. She was a part of the FaithSeekers Bible class. She also attended the SonShiners luncheons regularly. Kathy adopted several young families and served as a "grandmother" to their small children.

She lived at The Arbors in Abilene where she made many friends. She enjoyed sharing her love for the Lord and encouraging the residents there.

Kathy is survived by her two daughters, her brother, Bob Morris, and his wife.
