Marion Frances Bush

Marion Frances Bush, 89 of Abilene, Texas passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019.  Visitation and funeral service will be on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the University Church of Christ, 733 E.N. 16 ^th Street.  Visitation will start at 1:00 p.m. in the Family Room and the service will start at 2:00 p.m. in the auditorium.  Burial will be at the Moravian Church Cemetery in Unionville, Michigan at a later date.  Services under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Marion was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 2, 1930 to Monte Conrad and Mamie Audrey Bush.  Marion was a schoolteacher for 11 years in Vassar and Bloomfield, Michigan and Abilene, Texas.  Then she served as a school nurse with the Abilene Independent School District for 25 years, the last 15 years as the Supervisor of Nurses.  She was an active member of the University Church of Christ and participated in many mission trips to the Ukraine and Haiti.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents.  She is survived by her nieces, Angela Trotter of Sand Lake, Michigan and Mary Rose of Howard City, Michigan; nephew Timothy Andrews of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and her cousins Wallace Rae and Julia of Otisville, Michigan, Bill Rae and Kendra of Vassar, Michigan, Connie Rae Cooper and Phillip of Grand Blanc, Michigan, Ted Rae of Los Angeles, California, Donald Bush and Sharon of Sandusky, Michigan, Ilene Bush Neterer of Orrville, California and Donna Bush Hastings of Petaluma, California.
