Marilyn Kay Stacy

Marilyn Kay Stacy(Nagy/Green) was born in Tacoma Washington November 14 ^th , 1948. She passed on March 11 ^th , 2022, in Abilene, Texas, with her Loving husband Robert Allen Stacy and daughter Tina Hershaw, by her side.

Marilyn was born to Steve and Anna Nagy and was the 5 ^th of 6 children. She had 1 daughter Tina & son in law Scott, 1 grandson Jacob & granddaughter in law Jennifer, 2 granddaughters Caitlyn and Mary and 3 great grandchildren Lilith, Charles and Ace. She was cherished by them all.

Marilyn met Robert(Al) Stacy December 31 ^st , 1981, which began 40 years of an incredible love story. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She always put family first, whether they were related by blood or the family she chose to bring into her heart.

Marilyn absolutely loved people! In her heyday she was a spitfire with the heart of a Saint. She never passed up an opportunity to talk to a stranger or lend a hand if someone needed help. One of her favorite things was to walk in the rain or sit with the doors open during a thunderstorm. She loved camping, traveling, softball tournaments and spending time with family and friends. She was the families social butterfly, voice of reason, confidant and the one to turn to for support or advice. She was Loved and Respected by everyone, who’s life she touched.

Marilyn is survived by Husband Al Stacy, Daughter Tina Hershaw, Grandson Jacob Hershaw, Great Grands Lilith and Charles Hershaw, Sister Barbara Fasbender, Sister Joanne Yodonise, Brother Ralph Nagy.

Marilyn is preceded in this life by Father Steve Nagy, Mother Anna Nagy, Brother Steve Nagy, Brother John Nagy, Dearest friend whom she loved as a sister Linda Atkins.

Her Faith was strong. We must not morn but celebrate such an amazing soul. Those who loved her will feel her presence as a Warrior Angel in their hearts. God has her in his gracious kingdom where we will all meet again, someday! That was her belief.

A celebration of her amazing life is being planned and will be held in Washington State with a date and place to follow.
