Maria Teresa Acosta

Maria Teresa Acosta, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020.  A rosary service will be on Monday, September 20, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.  Funeral service will be Tuesday, September 21 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors.

She is a soul so many people will miss. She was so giving and helped any and all people. She touched so many lives and her door was always open to anyone. She will always be remembered for how selfless she was and for how she raised so many children and grandchildren. She always put everyone’s needs above her own. We know God has a place for you in heaven.

She is proceeded in death by her mother Maria Teresa Gracia, sister Isabel Gracia, 4 grandchildren Christopher Diaz, Marcus Alexander, Jeremy Allsup Jr. (Baby J.), and Juan Torres Jr. (Baby JJ) and the love of her life, Jose Refugio Torres. Teresa leaves behind her children. Melissa, Kristy, April, Ernie Jr., Freddie, Brittney, Alexander, Augustine, Isabel, and Juan; husband Ernest Acosta, Sr.; siblings, Dolores Gracia, Geneva Jimenez, Maria Gracia; grandchildren, Jasmine, Jose, Lena, Chance, little David, Nicholas, Nicole, Alyssa, Abel, Ethan B, Eli, Eliana, Edward, Ethan, Elizabeth, Blaze, J.D., Michael, Emma, Lenea, Aadyn, Madison, Marcus, Matthew, Aaron, Sofia, Zaylei, Victoria, Maria, Alex jr., Christopher Ryan, Xoe, Mason, Blaise, Emma Rose, Lucus , Julianna, and Lily; and great grandson Liam Diaz.
