Lisa Gail (Wachsmann) Abercrombie

May 18, 1978 — November 8, 2022

Mrs. Lisa (Wachsmann) Abercrombie, age 44, went to her heavenly home with Jesus on November 8, 2022.  A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at 11:00 AM at New Hope Church in Abilene, TX with Pastor Chuck Farina officiating. There will be no visitation.  Services under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street in Abilene.

Lisa was born in Midland, TX to Anton Wachsmann and Marilyn (Wiesman) Wachsmann. She received her RN from Midland College and Bachelor of Nursing from Lubbock Christian University. She also received a graduate degree in Campus Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. Lisa married Eric Abercrombie of Fort Worth, TX on July 15, 2006, in Lubbock, TX. She was passionate about her relationship with Christ, homeschooling, mentoring nursing students, and raising her 4 children with strong Christian values. She enjoyed camping, hiking, clogging, swimming, square dancing, painting, and spending quality time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Chris Wachsmann. She leaves behind her husband Eric and 4 children, Alexander (14), Elliana (13), Lorianne (9), and Madilynn (6), and loving parents Anton "AJ" and Marilyn.
