Leslie Dowell

July 5, 1957 — March 19, 2024

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Leslie. A cherished wife, mother, Noni, and friend. She departed peacefully on March 19, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones, free from pain and dancing in Heaven.

Born on July 5, 1957, Leslie brought light and love into the lives of all who knew her. Her gentle spirit, unwavering kindness, and boundless generosity touched countless hearts throughout her life. Leslie nurtured those around her with infinite love and guided them with God’s wisdom and grace. Her smile would light up a room. Leslie showed unconditional love and support to those around her.

Leslie knew God called her to be a special education teacher and she had a dear place in her heart for teaching children. She took pride in her work and taught for 21 years. She was creative, artistic, had a natural talent for flower gardens, loved playing with children and loved to sing and praise the Lord.

Leslie is survived by her devoted husband Keith Dowell, her daughters Brooke Knight and Taryn De Anda, her sons in law Jason Knight and Guillermo De Anda, her grandchildren Kenzley, Atlas, Emerson and Atticus, her brother Jay Towell, as well as countless friends and members of the community.

“When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be”. -Eliza Hewitt
