Kristie Elaine Nutt

Kristie Elaine Nutt, 64 of Anson, passed away on Friday, July 30, 2021 at an Abilene hospital.  Funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Clearfork Baptist Church, 14116 Hwy 277 in Hawley, Texas.  A time to visit with the family will start at 1:00 p.m. and the burial will follow the service at the Mount Hope Cemetery in Anson.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 7 at 11am at Faith Church, 7755 Fairbanks N. Houston Rd, Houston, TX 77040.  Under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Kristie was born in Anson to Earnest and Lorene Holley on March 14, 1957.  She worked her adult life as a nurse, helping and caring for others.  She was a loving person and enjoyed the simple things in life like faith, family and friendship.

Kristie was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Murray Holley.  She is survived by her husband, Milton Nutt of Anson; sons, Nathan Rouse of Cypress, Joseph Nutt of Seabrook and Earnest Nutt of Deer Park; daughter, Cynthia Kranzfelder of LaPorte; brothers, Sonny Holley of Houston, Tommy Holley of Missouri City, Bruce Holley of Houston, and Daniel Holley of Montgomery; sister Patricia Williamson of Mount Hope, Alabama; and her 7 grandchildren: Ethan and Landon Rouse, Scotty, Elizabeth, Michael and Alan Newcome and Linda Jo Nutt.
