Juana W. Watson

Juana W. Watson, 85, of Abilene, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2024.  A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Oldham Lane Church of Christ, 5049 Oldham Lane, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.  Inurnment will be at a later date at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene.

Juana was born on March 1, 1939 in Oklahoma City to Lonzo and Clara Stephens.  She married Bill Woods and they owned and operated a construction company here in Abilene.  Bill passed away in 1989.  Juana then married Judson Watson in 1990 and they started a real estate and construction company that bought, renovated and sold homes.  Jud passed away in 2016.

Juana was preceded in death by her parents, Lonzo and Clara Stephens; husband Bill Woods and husband Judson Watson; son Jeff Woods and sisters Clarita Smith and Mildred Simmons.  She is survived by her sons Todd Woods of Odessa and Alan Woods and wife Fiona of Lower Hutt, New Zealand; grandchildren Josh Woods and wife Julie, Danielle Woods, Dylan Woods, Jason Woods, Logan Woods, Austin Woods and wife Ragan, Ashley Peach and husband Will and Jessalyn Woods; plus 5 great grandchildren.
