Jonathan C. English

Jonathan C English of Clyde, Texas passed away on September the 11th 2021 at Hendrick Hospital in Abilene Texas.  A memorial service will be held Saturday October 23 ^rd , 2021 at 2:00 pm in the chapel at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St.

Jonathan was born on April 8 ^th , 1952 to the late Arthur and Jane English.  He was a bus driver for the Los Angeles unified school district in California for 28 years.   He retired early from that job in order to move his wife to Texas.  After moving to Texas, he drove for Citilink in Abilene and then did inventory for RGIS for several years.  Jon played the organ and the piano beautifully. He was a very dependable, giving and loving man.

Surviving Jon are his wife of 32 years Pam, his 2 boys; Bobby and Kristopher and his daughter, Rebecca and their spouses.  He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren: Shelby, Keltie, Joseph, Serenity, and Bradyn, a brother David, his niece's Cathy, Carol, Carla, his nephew Danny and his sister-in-law Leslye and her husband as well as many other family members and friends.   Jon was preceded in death by his parents.
