Johnnie Lee Boggs

April 17, 1949 — November 20, 2019

Johnnie Lee Boggs, 70, entered Heaven’s gates on November 20, 2019. He was born on April 17, 1949 to Nora Pearl (Becky) McVay and John Boggs in Brady, Texas. Johnnie took pride in a job well done and owned JB Supply, Inc. for close to 30 years. He was an ordained deacon for several years at Southside Baptist. He loved giving and helping others. His wife and daughter were his pride and joy! Second only to his granddaughters.


He is preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his wife Brenda Garner Boggs, his daughter Jennifer Boggs Farley and two granddaughters Callie and Kensie Farley, all of Abilene. He is also survived by his three brothers; Mike and Sherry Boggs of New Braunfels, Joe and Tammie Boggs of Haskell, David and Shelly Boggs of Atascosa, his brother in law and sister in law Gary and Gail Garner of Abilene as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, November 25, 2019 in the Texas State Veteran Cemetery at Abilene. Honorary Pallbearers will be Jack Dieken, Galen Engel, Bobby Forman, Gary Garner, Chris Garner, D.H. Pope, Mark Reeder, Hubert Young and Brent Young.
