Henry Perez

John Henry Perez, 60, of Abilene, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 8, 2020.  A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cedar Hill Section of the Abilene City Cemetery, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Henry was born on July 25, 1959 in Winters, Texas to Enrique and Christine Perez.  He was the loving husband to his wife of 40 years, Leslie Perez.  He was a wonderful father to his 4 children, Amanda Rodriguez and husband Michael; Carmen Perez; Alexander H. Perez and Samantha Valencia and husband Philip, all of Abilene.  He very much loved them all.  He was an awesome Grandpa, “PoPo” to his 5 grandchildren, Mariah Puentez, Malachi Puentez, Majesty Puentez, Audri Kay Perez and Mary Lyanna Perez.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Enrique and Christine Perez and brothers Robert Perez, Richard Perez and Danny Perez.  He is survived by his brother Eugene “Gino” Perez of Abilene.  He was a devoted, unique and caring man who touched the lives of all he knew.
