Jason Edward Pernell

Jason Edward Pernell, 47 of Abilene, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 19, 2022. A visitation and memorial service will be on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street. The visitation will start and 1:00 p.m. and the Memorial Service will start at 2:00 p.m.

Jason was born on March 7, 1975, in Lubbock, Texas to Tommy and Norma Pernell. Jason was a hardworking man who was devoted to his family, his wife and daughter. He was an Inventory Control Supervisor at the Coca-Cola plant here in Abilene, where he worked for the last 25 years. He started on the ground floor, as a forklift operator and worked his way up to supervisor. He enjoyed cooking and grilling outdoors for his family and loved sports. Jason grew up as a member of the South 11th & Willis Church of Christ and was active in the youth group while there.

Jason is survived by his parents, Tommy and Norma Pernell, his wife Paulette and their daughter, Aubrey.
