Glen Ralph Wallace, Jr, 88 of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2020.  A private family graveside service for Glen and his wife Connie will be on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene.  A combined memorial service will be on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at the Oldham Lane Church of Christ, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Glen was born on March 31, 1932 in Graham, Texas to Glen and Elizabeth Wallace.  Glen served his country in the Air Force, working on rocket sleds at Holloman Air Force Base in New Mexico.  He later moved to Abilene and opened up the South 14 th Auto Parts Store.  In 1994 on Valentine’s Day, he married Connie Jean Hall and they shared 26 years together until her passing on November 8 th .  A member of the Oldham Lane Church of Christ, Glen was a faithful and strong Christian man who always loved his family and wanted everything good for them through his Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.

Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Elizabeth Wallace, brother Lt. Jerald Dowe Wallace and his wife Connie.  He is survived by his sisters, Betty Jeanne Herdon and Virginia Louise Wissmann and brother Richard Alonzo Wallace; daughters Pam Wallace Goodrich and husband Tom of Abilene and Glenda Wallace Houston and husband Garry of Abilene and son Steve Wallace and his wife Mendy of Abilene; grandchildren Jessie Johnson and her husband Billie, Katy Mundell and her husband Seth, Ty Wallace and his wife Danielle and Ben Goodrich,  and great grandchildren Damien, Skyler, Faith, Anna, Makinzley, Baylee and Tucker.  He is also survived by Connie’s daughter Carolyn Stockard Shaw and husband Mark of North Richland Hills, Texas; and grandchildren Chad Henderson and his wife Jessica of Cedar Park Texas, Benjamin Henderson and Brittany of Pflugerville Texas, Sarah Henderson Geffert and her husband Jason of Cypress Texas, Barrett Shaw and sister Julia Shaw of North Richland Hills Texas; and great grandchildren Camryn, Cole, Case, Kinley, Rylan, Luke and Victoria.
