Gabriel Xavier Deleon

Gabriel Xavier DeLeon, 25 of Abilene, passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021.  Funeral service will be Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:00am in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.  Burial will follow service at the Belvieu Cemetery in Rotan.

Gabriel was born in Abilene on June 15, 1996 to Steve and Margie DeLeon.  He attended Abilene High School and grew up in the Minter Lane Church of Christ.  Gabriel was a loving son who enjoyed listening to music and being with his family and friends.  He also had a special bond with Terry and Dempsey Peterson and their family.  Gabriel was hard working and a friend to everyone.

Gabriel is survived by his wife, Angelique DeLeon of Abilene; his two step-daughters, Makayla and Layla Luna; his parents Steve DeLeon and Margie Moreno of Abilene; brothers Steve DeLeon of Wichita Falls, Fermin Moreno and Christopher Moreno of Abilene; and his sisters, Tiffany Kleiner of Tuscan, Arizona, Danacka Moreno, Angelicque Moreno and Jacqueline Moreno, all of Abilene.
