Frances Marie Huddleston-Martindale

Frances Marie Jones Huddleston Martindale, 78 of Haskell, was born in Plainview, Texas on May 8, 1943 and passed away in Abilene on December 8, 2021.  A graveside service will be on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Abilene Municipal Cemetery, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Her life was always an adventure, and she was always active in 4-H, Home Extension Club, PTA, Bridge Club, and most importantly her church.

After high school graduation she attended Abilene Christian College and in 1962 married Jerry M. Huddleston of Abilene, Texas.  After his passing she found love again in 2012 at a Christian Church Camp with Mr. Roy Martindale. She traveled extensively throughout the world, visiting 6 of the seven continents.

She is survived by her daughters: Darla (Rodney Young), Kimber Huddleston, and Shawna Larson (Thomas) as well as Shirley Garner and Kenneth Martindale

Her grandchildren: Miles Taylor (Natalie), Hunter Larson, Emily Taylor, Jarod Larson, Brynn Young and Samuel Young.  Stephen (Heather) Garner and Michael Garner, William Pierce, and Mattie Pace as well as her six great-grandchildren.

Also surviving her are two sisters: Mary Turley and Louise Teague (Robert) as well as extended family including nieces, nephews and cousins throughout the United States.

Frances was predeceased by her parents Samuel and Mildred Jones and both husbands, Jerry Huddleston and Roy Martindale.
