Emelia Molina

Emelia S. Molina, 92, passed away at a local nursing facility on July 20, 2018. There will be a visitation from 6-8 pm on July 23 at Piersall Funeral Directors 733 Butternut Street and a service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday at the Overflow Worship Center, 2958 Grape St. in Abilene with burial to follow.

Emelia was born on May 30, in Harlingen, Texas, to Gerardo Silguero and Cruz Hernandez Silguero. She was reared in Harlingen and attended schools there. Emelia met her husband Vencelado and they married in 1948 and moved to Abilene in 1993. Emelia was a faithful long-time member of the Overflow Worship Center.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Vence, She is survived by two brothers Andres Silguero and wife Rebecca of Abilene and Lucio Silguero and wife Armanda of Houston as well as many nieces and nephews.  Emelia will be greatly missed by her many Christian friends.
