Delena Mae Mclamore

Delena Mae McDonald McLamore passed peacefully from this earth on Friday, March 3, 2023.  Delena was born to Katherine McDonald on January 10, 1964 in Baird, Texas.   She lived a full and vivacious life against many odds.

Delena’s joy was always her family.  She loved calling and talking to anyone that would listen to her.

Delena is survived by her son, Robert Namon Kanady and wife Marion, daughter, Delena (DeDe) Lee Braswell and husband Glenn, sisters Debra Kay Rudder and Melissa (Missy) Mechea Daniels, grandchildren Shawn Kanady, Katie Braswell, Gage Kanady and Paige Kanady,  a great granddaughter Haizlee Persons, close friends as well as many nieces, nephews and a host of cousins.  She also had special friends that she considered family, Jeffrey Braswell and wife Brenda as well as their children whom she considered grandchildren, Jordan Braswell and Breanna George.

She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Katherine Elizabeth Shannon, brothers Emmitt Junior Boyd, Darell Glenn Boyd, and Clayburn Lee Boyd, and uncles Jerry McDonald and Richard McDonald.

Graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery in Funston, TX on Tuesday March 7, 2023 at 2 P.M.
