Christopher Brody Essary

Christopher Brody Essary, 34 of Abilene, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021.  A visitation will be held Friday, February 26, 2021, from 12:00-5:00 pm at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St.

Brody was born January 19, 1987 to Christopher Essary and Sharon Mitchell in Abilene.  He attended school in Abilene and graduated from Abilene High School.   Brody loved to play video games, ride motorcycles, and work on his trucks.  Some of his favorite pastimes were being with his family and playing with his dogs.

Brody was preceded in death by his stepfather Jimmy Coleman.  Brody is survived by his wife Ariel, his parents, Christopher Essary and Sharon Coleman, brothers; Jayton and Matthew Essary and sister Bonnie Essary and many other extended family members and close friends.  Brody’s love for helping others will be missed by all who knew him and experienced his generosity.
