Christopher Wade Moore

Christopher Wade Moore, 52 of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021.  A time of visitation with the family will be Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 6-8pm at North Park Baptist.  A memorial service will be held Friday, October 8, 2021 at 10am at North Park Baptist Church, 1525 Anson Ave, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Chris was born February 6, 1969 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to C.W. & Bit Moore.  After high school, Chris enlisted in the US Marine Corps.  During his service he received expert, the Marine Corps highest award, on three occasions in both rifle and pistol markmanship.  He also received a National Defense Service Medal and a Navy Unit Commendation.  He was trained as an Antitank Assaultman and Basic Security Guard.   Chris was honorably discharged in October of 1991 as a Lance Corporal.

Chris is survived by his wife of 14yrs, Ginger.   Their children, Darrion and Paisley.   His parents, step parents, sister, two step brothers & many extended family members and friends.
