Rita Kehl

Charlie Rita Kehl, loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, age 83, passed away on March 24, 2025. Funeral service will be on Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Southern Hills Church of Christ, 3666 Buffalo Gap Road, with a visitation starting at 10:00 a.m.

Rita was born in Wichita, Kansas to Anton and Josephine Davis, both of whom proceeded her in death. Rita and Don Kehl of Abilene, Texas were married on October 10, 1959 in Wichita, Kansas.

Rita's goal for her husband, children, their families, and everyone she met was for each to know how much they were loved. We are now the better and left to pass the love of Jesus on to others until we meet again.

Survivors include her loving husband of 65 years, Don, son Kevin Kehl (Susan), and daughters, Kelly Sansing (Steve), and Keri Anderson (Ryan). grandchildren include, Braden Kehl (Alex) and Brooke Kehl, Matthew Evans (Paige), Taylor Pinkerton, Hunter Pinkerton, Carli Dawson (Dyllon), Jacob Anderson, Joshua Anderson, and Jillian Anderson. Great grandchildren include Conner Evans, Emma Evans, Caitlyn Howell, and Aubree Dawson.
