Anna Faye Clements

Anna Faye Clements, 85 of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.  A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery at Abilene, 7457 West Lake Road, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Anna was born on September 25, 1936 in Detroit, Texas to Earnest and Evie Smith.  She married Jimmy Clements on June 2, 1956 in Wichita Falls and were married for 61 years before Jimmy’s death in 2018.  Anna worked as a cook for the Abilene ISD and loved to take care of her family.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents Earnest and Evie Smith, husband Jimmy Clements, sister Juanita Westmoreland and her three brothers, Leroy, Ray and Paul Smith.  She is survived by her son Steve Clements and wife Kim of Abilene, sister Jane Swift and husband Roy of Eastland, grandchildren Blake Clements of Abilene and Stephanie Clements of Abilene, plus two great grandchildren.
