Alex Ochoa, Jr., 47, of Abilene, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 24, 2024. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 26, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors.
Alex was born on December 4th, 1976, in San Angelo, Texas. His surviving parents are Alex Ochoa Sr., and Mother Esther Olivia Madrigal. Alex was preceded in death by his grandfather Juan Ochoa Sr., Grandmother Manuela Ochoa, in addition grandfather Polo Madrigal, and grandmother Maxine Madrigal.
Alex is survived by his wife Tomasa Ochoa of Abilene, his sons Aiden and Aaron Ochoa, and Chrisjon Goldsboro, stepdaughter Ashlee Sanchez, stepfather Rafael Bravo, Sr., granddaughter Ava Ochoa, his sisters JoAnn Tamez, Olga Bravo and Helen Ochoa and husband Gabriel, and brothers Rafael Bravo, Jr. and wife Sandra and John Bravo.
Alex was a wonderful family man. Often being referred to as a great dad, wonderful husband, and trustworthy brother. Alex married his beautiful wife Tomasa Ochoa on March 8, 2014, here in Abilene. He had two sons, Aiden and Aaron Ochoa, who he loved dearly. Alex enjoyed being a grandfather to his wonderful granddaughter Ava Ochoa.
He also enjoyed living life to the fullest and had many hobbies that he enjoyed in his free time. He enjoyed fishing, playing baseball, dancing, and spending time with family. He loved his family so much that his favorite memory was being there when his sons where born, and the day his granddaughter entered this world.
Alex will be lovingly remembered by all that knew him.
