Alan James Maxey passed away in Abilene, Texas on October 26, 2021. The arrangements are being handled by the Piersall Funeral Directors at 733 Butternut Street in Abilene.
Alan was born in Houston, Texas May 4, 1990 to Teresa James. In middle school he began living with his foster parents John-Carl and Sue Smith. He graduated from Mullin High School. He loved his family, video game addict, and loved collecting Star Wars memorabilia. He was a contract handyman and all around hard working man.
Alan James Maxey is survived by his wife Kandice Jones and two sons Bentlee and Archer Maxey. Other survivors include his mother Teresa James, adopted mother, Jamie DeMars, adopted father Darrin Strasdin, grandmother, Maryjane Almarabeh, brothers, Josh Bright, Terrance Maxey, Zachery Maxey, Wesley Denton, Joshua Strasdin and sisters Jessica Denton, Kirstie Jones, Chelsye Strasdin and Chasity Cortner. He was preceded in death by his foster parents John-Carl and Sue Smith. Alan will be greatly missed by those that loved him and cherished each moment with him. #maytheforcebewithyou
