Wanda Kinnard

Wanda Kinnard, 63, of Abilene, passed away Monday, December 6th, 2010 at a local hospital. A service is scheduled for 10:00 am Thursday, December 9th at Piersall Benton Chapel, 733 Butternut Street with a burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. A visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Wanda was born on Valentines Day 1947 to Emmitt & Katherine Blanton. She lived in Abilene most of her life. She married Don Kinnard April 12th, 1974. He was the love of her life. She enjoyed playing the piano and guitar for the Glory of God. She was a talented artist and shared her gift with many.

She was preceded in death by her mother Katherine and father Emmitt, both brothers, Milford and Jimmie Blanton, and one nephew, Scott Blanton. She is survived by her husband Don Kinnard of Abilene, her daughter Katherine Pearce of Abilene, and four grandchildren, who were her pride and joy; Alex, Aric, Jordan and Jared Pearce of Abilene.
