David Bryan Durham

David Bryan Durham, 52 of Abilene, passed away peacefully at home Monday December 28, 2009. A service is scheduled for 11:00 am at Piersall Benton Chapel, 733 Butternut St. on December 31, 2009 with burial to follow at 2:00 pm in the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene. A visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

David was born to Walter and Phyllis Durham on December 18, 1957 in Abilene, Texas. He graduated from Cooper High School in 1975 and entered the Army in 1977. David returned to Abilene and went to work as a driver for Gary Hendrix.

Surviving David are his Dad Walter, his mom and Step-dad Phyllis and Royce Bonner, his sisters; Patricia Kay Black and husband John, and Mary Linda Cotton and husband Bruce, a daughter, Mandi Lee Durham and two grandchildren Chessa Bryanne Black and Colton Durham as well as numerous nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by a brother Donald O'Dell Durham.
