Hannelore Gomez

Hannelore A. Gomez, 61 of Abilene, passed away Friday November 20th, 2009 at a local medical center. A memorial service is scheduled for 4:00 pm Tuesday November 24, 2009 at Piersall Benton Funeral Directors Chapel, 733 Butternut St. with Pastor Joe Almanza officiating. A visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.

Born in Frankfort, Germany on July 23rd, 1948 to Herbert and Franziska Muller, Hannelore was a German Citizen, but moved to the states early on and was proud to call Texas her home. She moved to Abilene 20 years ago from Phoenix, AZ. Hanna worked for the Abilene State School for ten years.

Preceding Hannelore in death were her parents and a brother. Hanna is survived by her husband Ignacio Gomez, Sons; Jose Cancel, Toby Reinhard and wife Allison, and Adrian Jasso, daughters; Mary-Ann Fallbeck and husband Allen, Sherry Onesti and husband Anthony, Angela Cancel, Clara Jasso, Lori Jasso and Cecilia Aguero and husband Daniel, a brother Monfred Muller, and a sister Hilde Hlawach. In addition, she is survived by her grandchildren that she adored, Robert, Anthony, Jeremy, Kayla, Heather, Cory, Madelyn, Braden, Autianna, Amanda, Matthew, Sergio, Natalie, and Ignacio as well as 3 great grandchildren, and a host of extended family members and close friends.
