Peggy Joyce Beeman

Peggy Joyce Beeman, 66 of Abilene, passed away on Monday, April 3, 2017 surrounded by family.  A celebration of Peggy’s life will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at The Mission Church at 650 South 7th, with burial to follow in the Clyde Cemetery.  A visitation with the family will be on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Peggy was born to Ausie and Estelle (Anderson) Watson on July 15, 1950 in Baird, Texas.  On April 11, 1969, Peggy married the love of her life, Jack Beeman and the couple enjoyed 42 years together before Jack’s death in 2011.  Peggy worked for many years as a Certified Medical Assistant and was extremely active at her church and loved to help those in need.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and by her husband, Jack.  She is survived by her son, Dustin Beeman and wife Valerie of Abilene; daughter Paula Michener and husband Eric of Springtown;  brothers Travis and Larry Watson, both of Waco; granddaughters Chelsea Beeman of Keller and Raigen Ruelas and husband Christopher and children Isaiah and Gabby of Abilene; cousin Joanna Covarrubias and husband Abel from Abilene; and many more cousins, nieces and nephews.
