Helen Hall was born to Roland Tiner and Edna Kelley Tiner on July 12th, 1932 in Smithville, Texas. She was married at the age of 17 on October 22, 1949 to David Hall in Snyder, Texas. Together they had five sons all of whom possess separate likes and dislikes, and all were granted at least one great talent. Mrs. Hall was a life long learner and an avid reader. When the boys all became school age, Helen went back to Hardin Simmons College, ultimately receiving her Masters Degree in English in 1973.
She was hired by Wylie High School to prepare young men and women to successfully start their future as college bound freshman. She was a person who believed in the value of an education, working to instill that value into students she taught. She retired from Wylie High School in 1994. At that time she moved into full time gardening and growing beautiful flowers and plants.
Helen loved her family and those she leaves behind will forever be changed by her example. She is survived by her Husband of nearly 60 years David Hall; five sons; David Bruce Hall, Stephen Baker Hall and wife Rebecca, Paul Anthony Hall and wife Deven, Mark Oliver Hall, and Phillip Wade Hall and wife Nancy, grandchildren; Bryce, Raine, Cory, Kimberley, Zachary, Logan, Aaron, Lexi, Clayton, Christopher and Amanda, two great grandchildren; Callie Hall and Aleese Palmer, as well as 3 sisters and 4 brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
The family would like to offer special thanks to Visiting Angel Dominique and suggest that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Hendrick Hospice Care, 1682 Hickory St. Abilene, 79601. Online condolences can be offered to the family at www.pbfuneraldirectors.com.
