Phyllis Garrell Hadley

August 23, 1935 — May 19, 2016

Phyllis Garrell Hadley born August 23, 1935 in East Liverpool, Ohio to Essel and Mary Hadley, passed away Thursday May 19th in Abilene, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Jean Gregg.

Phyllis moved from Columbiana, Ohio to Abilene in 1995. She was a member of Southern Hills Church of Christ where she worked in the office, retiring in 2013.

She leaves a niece Janet Mong of Columbiana, Ohio, nephews Gary Gregg of Searcy, Arkansas and Gail Gregg of Abilene and a niece Joy Clark of Pavo, Georgia with 11 great and 14 great-great nieces and nephews whom she loved doing things for and with. She also leaves many dear friends from church.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Sunday May 22nd at Southern Hills Church of Christ. Burial will be in Columbiana Memorial Park in East Liverpool, OH. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to: Abilene Education Foundation, 241 Pine St., Abilene, TX 79601 or Harvest Missions through Southern Hills Church of Christ, 3666 Buffalo Gap, Abilene, TX 79605.
