Christie Estrada

Christie Estrada, 33, of Abilene, went home to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, May 21, 2009. Her service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday the 23rd of May, 2009 at the Piersall Chapel, 733 Butternut Street. Officiating will be Arnulfo Gonzales. Burial will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery. There will be a time of visitation before the service from 10-12 today.


Christie was born in Anson, TX, January 29, 1976 to Mark and Juanita Estrada. She attended Abilene Schools and graduated from Abilene High School in 1994. She was a physical Therapy Technician at the Abilene State School and a member of the Christian Fellowship Foursquare Church.

Christie was very creative, loved to spend time on a computer and was always taking pictures at social events. She loved to watch her kids play sports. Her children were her pride and joy. When she was younger Christie loved to play softball. She was a member of the first soccer and softball teams at Abilene High.

Christie is survived by her father Mark and wife Linda Estrada and her mother Juanita Valdez, her beloved children, Cory Le Anthony Brown, Taquan Donte Brown and twin sons Clayton D. Estrada and Calvin Devlon Estrada. She is also survived by her brothers Wally, Mark, Tony and Thomas Cruz Estrada and her Grandmothers; Rosario Estrada, and Mary Escobedo. Christie had many other extended family members and friends that were impacted by her short life. Christie was preceded in death by her sister, Pennie Estrada.
