April Denice Bynum, 36, of Abilene passed away Friday April 10th, 2009 at a local hospital. A service is scheduled for Tuesday April 14th at 10:00 am at Piersall Benton Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St, with burial to follow at 4:00 pm in the Parklawn Memorial Park in Plainview, TX. A visition will be held on Monday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home.
April was born July 10th, 1972 to Dennis "Buddy" Bynum and Iris Ferguson Bynum in Hale Center, Texas. She moved to Abilene when she was four and lived the rest of her life here. She was a 1991 graduate of Cooper High School. April was a member of New Beginnings United Pentacostal Church. Even though she was disabled all of her life she never allowed that to get in the way. She had a tremendous impact on the people around her.
April will be greatly missed by her parents, her brother Bronco Bynum and his wife Melissa of Abilene; Her two sisters Tamara Simmons of Abilene and Kana Gibson of Conroe, TX as well as a number of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Earnest and Viola Ferguson, and a great niece Miley Chea-Gobel.
