John Caleb Todd

John C. Todd, 88, of Abilene, Texas passed away at a local medical facility on April 1, 2015. Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Oklahoma City on Tuesday April 7th at 10:00am under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St in Abilene, Texas.

Mr. Todd was born to Caleb R. Todd and Lessie Tipler Todd in Oklahoma City. He was raised in Oklahoma City and graduated from Classen High School. After graduation he entered the Navy where he honorably served for two years. When John was discharged in 1946, he attended University of Oklahoma where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering. After graduation from college he became a Reservoir Engineer for Atlantic Richfield, now know as British Petroleum, where he worked for many years. John was a gentle Christian man and a member of Mayfair Church of Christ in Oklahoma City.

John was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Ela Beth Todd Bailey. He is survived by a brother in law George W. Bailey of Katy, Texas, a niece, Jill Estes Bailey of Abilene and a nephew, G. Phillip Bailey of Katy, Texas. He will also be missed by many great nieces, great nephews, extended family and friends.
