Eyvonne Rose Howard

Eyvonne Rose Howard, 55, of Abilene passed away at local hospital October 13th, 2008. A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday October 18th at 10:00 am at the Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas. A visitation will be held from 6:-7:30pm Friday October 17th at Piersall Benton Funeral Home, 733 Butternut St.

Eyvonne was born May 10th, 1953 to Jimmy Palmer and Bettye Blomberg in Odessa, Texas. She spent most of her life in West and Central Texas primarily in Cisco and Abilene. She worked at several different factories but her most important job was caring for her son, Matthew, and later in life her grandmother and mother.

Eyvonne was a giving person who always put others before herself. She is survived by her father, her son, brothers Mike, Jamie and Greg Palmer and two grandchildren, Matthew Jr. and Jaxon and numerous nieces and newphews. She was preceded in death by her mother and grandmother. The family would like to thank Eyvonne’s “second family” at Wound Care Center.
