Matthew Kristofer Wright

Matthew Kristofer Wright, 41 of Abilene, passed away September 2, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center. A service is scheduled for 10:00 am Saturday September 6, 2014 at the Piersall Funeral Directors Chapel, 733 Butternut St. Visitation with the family will be held Friday evening from 5-7pm at the funeral home.

Kris was born on March 3, 1973 in Abilene, Texas to Roger and Kathy Wright. He was raised in Abilene and attended school in the AISD. In 1991 he graduated from Abilene High School. After graduation he went on to acquire two associate degrees from Stephen F. Austin in Nacogdoches.

A love of family, a joy for life and a gift of working with his hands helped make Kris who he was. It's because of those traits and others that he will be well remembered by his family and friends.

Preceding Kris in death were his brother, Roger Scott Wright, grandparents; Kim and Ennis Ensminger and Betty Wright. He is survived by his parents, Roger and Kathy Wright, a brother, Ryan Wright and wife Jacinta, his grandfather, Dale Wright, as well as a special friend Araseli Curiel and many other extended family members and close friends.
