Shara Eaton Westerman

Shara Eaton Westerman, 48, passed away December 20 at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock. Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 a.m. December 27 at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St in Abilene.

Shara was born on January 12, 1965. She grew up in Abilene and was a 1983 graduate of Cooper High School. In 1987, she graduated from McMurry University with a BBA in Finance. She was a lifetime member of the First Christian Church in Abilene.

Shara worked in the mortgage industry and married Scott Westerman of Allen in 1997. She lived in the Metroplex until she moved to Lubbock in May of this year.

Shara was preceded in death by her brother Randy Eaton. Survivors include her parents, Jim and Margie Eaton of Abilene; three brothers: Chuck and wife Amy of Lubbock, Lee and wife Kay of Royse City, and Kent and wife Vickie of McPherson, Kansas; sister-in-law Paula Eaton; 10 beloved nieces and nephews and one great-niece.
