Christopher Thomas Kincaid Insall

June 20, 1986 — December 4, 2013

“Timing: We normally see it as something we can control, but if we are doing things right, we have no control. Everything is on God’s time.” Christopher Thomas Kincaid Insall, September 2, 2007

Christopher Thomas Kincaid Insall, age 27, of Mansfield, TX, was a cherished son, nephew, cousin, and grandson, truly loved by all. He left this world to join his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Wednesday, December 4, 2013. Christopher was born on the 20th of June 1986 in Abilene, TX, where he lived most of his life. He was a member of JROTC and graduated from Cooper High School in 2004. Prior to moving to Mansfield, he was employed as an assistant store manager at GameStop in Abilene, and later went to work for Blizzard Entertainment in Round Rock, TX. He received an AA in General Studies from Cisco College and at the time of his passing was a student at the University of Texas at Arlington, where he was pursuing a BSW.

Christopher “Jonas” Insall, alias Buck Steele, was known for his quirky sense of humor, sharp wit, bear hugs, and amazing ability to make people laugh. A friend described him as, “always spontaneous, and full of laughter, and fun.” Another friend noted his ability to “light up a room simply by entering it. Frowns were always rendered powerless and were turned upside down in his presence. His boundless sense of humor made you forget about your troubles, but at the same time, he demonstrated sincere care and concern for your situation. These were his gifts to the world.” He loved music, particularly Frank Sinatra and Ray Charles. “Come Fly With Me” and “Hit the Road Jack” were special favorites.

His survivors include: his mother, Laura Insall of Mansfield; stepfather, Rick Westall of Midland; father, Carlton Kincaid, and stepmother, Dana, and siblings, CJ and Cassidy; grandmother, Martha Insall of Abilene; grandfather, Raymond Kincaid and grandmother, Cheryl White of Abilene; Aunt Sherry and Uncle Richard Scarborough, and children, Amanda Braden, Andera Swaim, and Kelby Clements of Abilene, and Ashlee Scarborough of San Saba and Brandon Scarborough of Edna; Aunt Donna and Uncle Donald Schuman of Mansfield, and son, SPC Evan Williams of Ft. Riley, KS; Uncle Steven Insall of Big Spring, and son, Taylor of Abilene; Uncle Eric and Aunt Wendy Kincaid, and children Abby and Alan Simpson; Uncle Phil and Jennifer Kincaid, and children, Alicia and Wes. He loved his little cousins, Ryan Mather, Paisley Strickland, Chloe and Luke Swaim, as well as friends, Doug, Thomas, and JT, to include many, many other close friends.
