William Mcadam Gluck

Bill Gluck passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 in Abilene. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 17 at St. James United Methodist Church, 3100 Barrow St., Abilene, Texas. Bill graduated from California State University earning a degree in psychology and child development. After college he served in the United States Air Force for twenty years and retired as a Captain. Upon retirement Bill worked as a nurses' aide at Hendrick Hospice and as a correctional officer at the Robertson Unit prison. He also taught an elementary Sunday school class at St. James UMC. Bill is survived by his daughter Clair Balli and husband Gus, and three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to St. James UMC, 3100 Barrow St. Abilene, TX.
